Edvard Sandbakken

Biografie

Edvard Sandbakken is a 23-year-old baritone who studies his third-year bachelor's at the Norwegian Academy of music. Prior to singing, he played the piano from the age of 6 which gave him a great musical advantage when he started to study singing at the age of 17. Since 2019 he has been studying classical singing under Prof. Mona Julsrud at the Norwegian Academy of Music and has been working with various singers such as Andreas Schmidt, Yngve Søberg and Konrad Jarnot.

Last summer he sang the role of “Il Conte d’Almaviva” from Le Nozze di Figaro in Saluzzo Opera Academy and has also sang in various oratorios such as Bach`s Weihnachts-Oratorium” and Saint-Saëns “Oratorio de Noël”.
