
Seungwoo Kyle Cho, bass, is a graduate student in opera at the Binghamton Universityin New York, where he will soon begin his second year. He completed a three-year program at the Conservatorio di Musica Licinio Reficein Frosinone, Italy, and earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Dankook Universityin South Korea. His performance experience includes productions of L’elisir d’amore and La Traviata in Italy, Don Giovanni, Le nozze di Figaro, La Bohème, and Rigoletto in Korea, and Postcard from Morocco in the United States. He has received recognition in numerous competitions, winning first prize at the Brahms Association Music Competition and most recently first prize at the NATS Competition. He has also won second prizes at the Hanum Music Competition, the Music Education Newspaper Competition, and the Seoul International Artist Competition, and was a finalist in the Reborn Jeju International Vocal Competition. He is currently studying under Professor Thomas Goodheart.
