Luke Thatcher

Biografie

Luke Thatcher is a dramatic tenor from Morrison, Colorado who has sung across the Colorado Front Range from Fort Colins to Central City. Luke graduated from CSU in 2018 where he studied under the guidance of John Seesholtz- an outstanding baritone and published vocal pedagogy expert. He has Sung with Opera Colorado's Chorus since Il.Barbiere.di.Siviglia in 2019 and has been a part of other noteworthy productions at Opera Colorado such as The.Shining, Die.Flegende.Holländer , La.fille.du.Régiment, And as the standout roles of Ruiz in Il.Trovatore.and Giuseppe in La.Traviata. Aside from Opera Colorado, he has sung Tamino in Die.Zauberflote at the Ralph Opera Center in Fort Colins, The King of the West and sun in The.Enchanted.Pig with Opera Steamboat, Don Jose in Carmen with Boulder opera, and has sung Rinuccio from Gianni.Schicchi at the international music festival La Musica Lirica in Novafeltria, Italy. Luke will begin pursuing his masters in vocal performance at the Lamont School of Music at DU starting this fall and will be studying under the guidance of Cody Laun.
