Biografie

Kyle Dunn, Baritone, grew up in a musician’s household in Leonia, NJ. From his childhood years, Kyle remembers hearing his father teach voice and piano lessons. Growing up listening to various styles of music had a profound inBluence on his path in life. As early as middle school, Kyle sang in both school and select choirs in New Jersey. This musical medium became his main focus in high school, which led him to pursue a music degree in college. At Temple University, Kyle continued to participate in choral activities, but his main focus eventually became solo operatic singing.

Kyle recently received his Master’s degree from the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, MD, where he studied with Randall Scarlata. He most recently sang as Germano in Rossini’s La scala di seta and Mr. Presto in Poulenc’s Les mamelles de Tirésias with Peabody Opera Theater. Recent titles also include Rambaldo from Puccini’s La Rondine, Mr. Wickham/Mr. Bennet in Kirk Mechem’s Pride and Prejudice, the Hunter in Dvorak’s Rusalka, and Antinoo in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria.

Kyle would like to thank all of the PSN faculty and colleagues for making this wonderful and enriching experience possible.
