
Brianna Santiago-Kane, soprano, is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she earned her degree in Choral Music Education under the guidance of Dr. Angelique Clay. Her recent operatic performances include Barbarina and Susanna (cover) in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro with FIO Mondo in Urbania, Italy. As well as the Dew Fairy and Gretel (cover) in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, and Miss Titmouse in Penhorwood’s Too Many Sopranos with the University of Kentucky Opera Theatre. As a member of the University of Kentucky Chorale and Treble Choir, she has also performed in multiple choral settings across Europe, including Italy, Spain, and Greece. This past year, she received 1st place in her division at the Kentucky National Association of Teachers of Singing (KYNATS) competition. Brianna also participated in the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition. She will pursue a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and continue her vocal studies this fall at the University of Kentucky.
