Biografie

Kaylee Norris is a twenty-three-year-old soprano from Ohio in the United States, where she received her bachelor’s in musical arts degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, under the vocal instruction of Dr. Dean Southern. Ms. Norris performed Susanna in Prague summer night’s 2019 production of Le nozze di Figaro at the Estates Theater in Prague, and she was a winner of the PSN 2019 Vocal competition. Kaylee sang Genovieffa in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with the Berlin Opera Academy in summer of 2021, and this summer she will sing Lauretta in BOA’s production of Gianni Schicci in Berlin, Germany. Other roles that Ms. Norris has performed include Despina in Mozart’s Così fan tutte with La Musica Lirica in Italy (2018), and Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni in Boston, MA. (2019). Some concert venues that Ms. Norris has sung at include Severance Hall with the world-renowned Cleveland orchestra, Jordan Hall in Boston, MA, The Classical Movements Rectory in Alexandria, VA, the Kaiserstein Palace in Prague and the Crystal Palace in Prague. Kaylee currently lives in Prague and works with her vocal coach, Dr. Jelena Noskova, head pianist and coach for the State Opera and the National theater in Prague, and her voice teacher Magdaléna Hajóssyová, a world-renowned soprano and a teacher of voice at the HAMU school of performing arts in Prague. Kaylee continues to pursue a professional career in opera and classical voice in Europe.
