A number of philosophies and religions are of the opinion that death is not our final destination, rather a transitional state. As Nick Cave sings, “death is not the end”.
An interesting inspiration pertaining to the subject has been provided by the adherents of the contemporary speculative realism, who view the universe as an entity whose processes, including the earthly and organic life, form part of a complex, astonishingly beautiful whole.
