About
Dear Friends of Dance,
On this International Dance Day, we open our doors and hearts to you, celebrating the universal language of movement that unites us all. Dance transcends boundaries, connecting generations, cultures, and souls.
We are thrilled to present a new choreography by our talented company member, Elena Dombrowski, whose innovative spirit earned her the Young Creation Award at the Prix de Lausanne 2024. Her work embodies the fusion of tradition and contemporary expression, reflecting the evolving landscape of ballet.
This year’s celebration is made even more special as we welcome the enthusiastic participation of preschool and school children. Their involvement symbolizes the nurturing of future generations and the enduring legacy of dance.
As we commemorate this day, we honor the rich history of dance and its power to inspire, heal, and bring joy. Let us dance together, embracing the rhythm of life and the beauty it brings.
With gratitude and grace,
The Czech National Ballet
