Kazane Takaki is a Japanese dancer known for her versatility in classical ballet, neoclassical ballet, and contemporary dance. She began her ballet education at Kumamoto Ballet School in Japan, where she studied from 2007 to 2016. She then continued at the International Ballet High School in Tokyo (2016–2017) and went on to the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she studied from 2017 to 2019.
During her career, Kazane has gained significant professional experience performing with several renowned companies. In 2020 she joined the Tchaikovsky Ballet Theatre in Saint Petersburg, where she remained until 2022. She subsequently moved to the Tokyo International Ballet Company (2022–2023) and then to the Japan Ballet Theatre (2023–2024). In 2024 she performed with Youth Spirit of Dance in Poland.
Her repertoire spans classical, neoclassical, and contemporary ballets. She has danced roles in classical ballets, neoclassical works, and modern choreographies, including pas de deux and tap pieces. Kazane is recognized for her talent and dedication to dance, which earned her, among other honors, a finalist spot at the Vaganova Prix competition in 2018 and first place at the Educational Ballet Competition in Japan in 2017 and 2018. In 2019 she passed the classical ballet exam at the Vaganova Ballet Academy with outstanding marks.
Kazane speaks Japanese, English, and Russian fluently, and she continues to captivate audiences with her technical prowess, artistic expression, and broad repertoire.
