Jeremey Zotov

Biography

Jeremy Zotov began his dance journey at the Russian Ballet School in Toronto (2012 – 2016), where he absorbed the Russian classical tradition. From 2016 to 2019 he refined his training at Canada’s National Ballet School. In 2019 he was accepted into the Staatliche Ballettakademie at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, completing his formal studies in 2024 under Tadeusz Matacz and the academy faculty.

While studying he appeared frequently on stage, dancing Leonid Zhdanov’s virtuosic Étude and Bournonville’s Pas de six from Napoli at school galas. As an intern with Stuttgart Ballet he performed in Edward Clug’s Der Nussknacker, Marcia Haydée’s Dornröschen, and John Cranko’s Spuren.

The 2023/2024 season marked his debut with Theater Chemnitz, where he added lyrical roles in Rhapsody in C and Luciano Cannito’s Romeo und Julia, as well as character parts in Marcia Peci’s Schwanensee and Ester Sadowska’s The Nutcracker. He also explored contemporary pieces such as Jurij Zhukov’s Constellation Septem and Katarzyna Kozielska’s witty Wieso ist die Nase blau?

Jeremy has enriched his skills at the Princess Grace Academy in Monaco (2019, 2021) and the International Masterclasses in Prague (2023). He speaks English and Russian fluently, German at B2 level and basic French. With a solid classical foundation, international training and stage experience across Canada, Germany and Japan, he enters the professional arena poised to channel youthful energy and musicality into future projects.
