The New Stage, designed by Karel Prager, is one of the most hotly discussed buildings in Prague. Although having been given many a sarcastic nickname, architecture connoisseurs consider it one of the most fascinating Brutalist gems in the Czech Republic. The building, self-confidently overlooking the Národní třída avenue, was placed in the Neo-Renaissance surroundings bluntly and boldly.
The magnet depicts the venue’s interior – a flight of stairs from green Cuban marble and the much-admired suspended glass sculpture created by Pavel Hlava and Jaroslav Štursa.
