About
The new time-lapse documentary, "A Year with the National Theater," portrays a beautiful yet challenging year that the children, parents, and educators of ZUŠ Říčany were able to experience thanks to the amazing collaboration with the National Theater. They participated in the Partner School project, in which the National Theater selects one school institution annually to collaborate with. In its seventh year, this project saw the involvement of all ensembles of the National Theater for the first time, including drama, ballet, and opera.
"It all started very inconspicuously, with a simple email and a meeting in a café," says Iveta Sinkulová, the director of ZUŠ Říčany. "At the beginning of the collaboration, nobody knew how far the project would go. Would there be interest in it? One thing was certain, though – we wanted to connect all artistic disciplines. And we succeeded. We are very grateful for this opportunity and we thank everyone who has helped us."
