The Voice of the Landscape will be a physical theatre show, blending dance and contemporary circus elements, and employing film technologies.
Revealing the sheer diversity of the human body, it mulls over what beauty is and the standards by which it is judged. It raises the question of whether “ideal beauty” actually exists or whether this traditional concept no longer applies. Can we see beauty where we would not expect to find it, without being compelled to reassess our standards and prejudices? If we cease seeking superficial perfection, we have the chance to discover inner beauty, the true and permanent one.
“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than boring.” — Marilyn Monroe
