Dear spectators,
On 10th of May, the National Theatre launched a presale of tickets for June 2021.

According to the government's decision, visitors must meet these conditions.

Tickets can be purchased on the website of the National Theatre, the Main Box office of the National Theatre on the New Stage is reopened. The other box offices remain closed until further notice.

The meeting point

with your guide is 10 minutes at the latest prior to the beginning of the tour in front of the main entrance of the The Estates Theatre. The entrance is located on Železná Street,  Praha 1.

The Estates Theatre is one of the most beautiful theatre buildings in Europe. It is inextricably linked with the work of musical geniuses such as W. A. Mozart, Carl Maria von Weber, Gustav Mahler, and Niccolò Paganini. However, its history was also influenced by famous Czechs such as the writer Karel Čapek, the playwright Milan Kundera or the director Miloš Forman. Our dedicated guides will tell you not only about these personalities, but also many other interesting facts from history and the present.

The tour of the Estates Theatre takes less than an hour and begins in the lobby, continues in the auditorium, Mozart’s lounge, and ends in the central cloakroom.

The visitors shall always meet about 10 minutes before the tour starts in front of the main entrance to the Estates Theatre building, which is located under the arcade at the intersection of Rytířská and Železná streets.

Please, be punctual, once the tour starts, it is no longer possible to enter the building.

It is forbidden to use the lift during weekend tours, therefore, please consider whether you are physically able to walk up the stairs. Moreover, the use of toilets shall be limited to the minimum necessary.
