A thematic ballet workshop complementing our dance production Timeless which is performed in the newly renovated State Opera.
About
This workshop is for adults, teenagers and students.
You will learn about choreographers George Balanchin and Glen Tetley, with contextual realia. We will explore the style of neoclassicism, mainly through real dance examples, and study The Rite of Spring with its many themes and symbols.
Come join us in the ballet studio where we will balance between technical learning and a playful and emotional introduction to ballet.
This workshop is also open to school groups or other organized groups.
Workshop duration: 90 min
Target group: children aged 12+, adolescents, adults
Minimal occupancy: 16 participants
Maximal capacity: 80 participants
