
Hailing from Louisville, William Middleton (Baritone) has had a diverse musical journey. He began his musical training as a classical pianist and organist, performing recitals and serving various churches until around age 16. He then focused primarily as a bass trombonist, performing with the Louisville Orchestra and the UK Symphony Orchestra in Lexington during his undergraduate studies. Following the completion of his undergraduate degree, he transitioned to vocal performance and is now pursuing a Master of Music in Voice at the University of Kentucky.
Recent operatic engagements include Dr. Falke in Die Fledermaus and participation in the premiere of A Nation of Others by Paul Moravec, where he played an Official and covered the role of Connor. His work in Le Nozze di Figaro includes 2 different performances as Antonio as well as covering the roles of Antonio and Bartolo. He has also appeared with University of Kentucky Opera Theatre, University of Kentucky Choirs, and recently performed at Carnegie Hall with the University of Kentucky Men's Choir.
William currently resides in Lexington and continues his graduate studies in voice performance at the University of Kentucky under Dr. Angelique Clay.
