Biography

Costume designer Vladimíra Fomínová graduated from Film School Zlín and High School of Applied Arts, Prague in Exhibition and Spatial design. In the field of theatre she has worked with directors Miroslav Krobot (The Idiot at the Dejvické Theatre in Prague, 2008); David Drábek (Lizards and Night of the Living Dead, both at the Klicperovo Theatre in Hradec Králové, 2009 and 2010); Alexandr Minaev (Demons at the Theatre in Celetná in Prague, 2010 and The Government Inspector at the Drama Theatre Ústí nad Labem, 2011); David Peimer (A Couple of Poor Polish speaking Romanians at the Theatre Na zábradlí in Prague, 2010); Thomas Zielinski (The Beehive at the New Stage of the National Theatre in Prague, 2010), and Petr Zelenka (39 degrees at the Dejvické Theatre in Prague, 2008; Endangered Species at the New Stage of the National Theatre in Prague, 2011 and Dabing Street at the Dejvické Theatre in Prague, 2012). Her costume designs for film include movies Frikasse (director Martin Krejčí, 2003), The Note (Jon Greenhaig, 2007), Insomnia (Lenka Wimmerová, 2009) and Mother-in-law and smoked meat (Lenka Wimmerová, 2011). In the field of TV series she has cooperated with directors Lenka Wimmerová (Private Traps, 2008) and Petr Zelenka (Therapy, 2011).
