Valeria Pronina

Biography

Moldovan soprano Valeria Pronina will make her debut at the National Theatre Prague in the 2025/26 season on the stage of the State Opera, appearing as the Flower Maiden in Wagner’s Parsifal. Since 2024, she has been a member of the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Chișinău. She studied classical singing at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts in Moldova in the class of Tatiana Busuioc. Her repertoire includes, among others, Gilda (Rigoletto), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Queen of the Night (Die Zauberflöte), Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Oscar (Un ballo in maschera), Marfa (The Tsar’s Bride), and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro).
