Susannah Hardwick
Biography
Susannah Hardwick is a British soprano currently based in the United States. She recently graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with a Master of Music in Opera Performance. She also holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from the Royal College of Music in London. Her recently performed roles include Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro (Boston Conservatory Opera), Susannah (cover) in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah (Boston Conservatory Opera), Eurydice in Orpheus in the Underworld (Hawaii Performing Arts Festival), Euridice in L’Orfeo (Royal College of Music), Clorinda (cover) in La Cenerentola (British Youth Opera), Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica (Opera Lucca), Ottavia in L’incoronazione di Poppea (Ensemble Orquesta) and Johanna in SweeneyTodd (RicNic Oxford). Other recent engagements include a vocal fellowship and chorus artist position with the Spoleto Festival USA, where she was a featured soloist in Handel’s Dixit Dominus. Susannah was recently named the winner of the Copland Award in this year’s final of the Orpheus Vocal Competition, and last year was a semifinalist in the Pasadena Vocal Competition.
