Biography

After Stanislav Krejčiřík finished compulsory schooling in 2002/03, he started to study solo singing at the Conservatory in Pilsen with Mgr. Ludmila Kotnauerová. He graduated and from 2006 studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of professional assistant Miloslav Podskalský. In the school opera studio he prepared roles of Sykoš in the opera by Bohuslav Martinů Comedy on the Bridge, Figaro in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Uberto in La Serva padrona. In the academic year 2010/2011 he completed a six-month internship at the Conservatorium Maastricht in the Netherlands. His artistic activities include external solo collaboration with theatres in Liberec (Viva la mamma, Julius Caesar) and J.K.Tyl in Pilsen (Prince Igor, Faust). Currently he is working with the State Opera in Prague (Tannhäuser, Mefistofele) and Theater Hof in Germany (Turandot). His artistic achievements include 3rd prize in Song Contest Bohuslav Martinů in Prague and a special award for his interpretation of songs by Bohuslav Martinů (2003). 3rd prize at the Conservatory Competition (2004). 2nd prize at Dušek Vocal Competition in Prague (2005) and honourable mention at the International Singing Competition of Antonin Dvořák in Carlsbad (2005, 2010). He recorded several songs and arias for Czech Radio in Prague and Pilsen. He taught at the conservatory in Pilsen.
