Pavla Radostová
Biography
Pavla Radostová makes her debut at the National Theatre on the stage of the State Opera in the roles of Amor and Clarine (Rameau: Platée). She is a graduate of the Brno Conservatoire and Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno. She specializes in Renaissance, Baroque and contemporary music. As a soloist and ensemble singer, she regularly collaborates with important Czech and foreign ensembles of various musical genres (e.g. Collegium Vocale Gent, Collegium 1704, Drei Engel, Musica Florea, Cappella Mariana, Czech Ensemble Baroque, Collegium Marianum, Ensemble Inégal, Brno Philharmonic, Reicha Quartet, Brno Contemporary Orchestra, BERG Orchestra, Musica Aeterna, Ensemble Opera Diversa, Tupá Šídla, Musica Laetitia) and musical personalities (P. Herreweghe, V. Luks, M. Štryncl, J. Semerádová, V. Semerád, W. Herbers, D. R. Davies, A. Liebreich, P. Veber, R. Válek, P. Šnajdr, M. de Rose, G. Tardonová, V. Spurný, Z. Klauda, S. Bagnoud, D. Kalousek and others). This cooperation has often brought her the opportunity to perform some compositions in Czech and world premieres. As a soloist she has participated in the creation of several CDs and recordings for radio (P. de Monte: Madrigali spirituali, J. P. Rameau: Les Boréades, F. Tůma: Te Deum, A. Brossmann: Missa in A, F. X. Richter: Super flumina Babylonis/ Miserere mei Deus, Resonate e plaudite, G. Grisey: Quatre chants pour franchir le seuil, Music for the Siren, J. Bons: Thirty Situations, F. Romitelli: EnTrance, P. Hora: The Red of the Flesh, H. Abrahamsen: Two Songs by Inger Christensen and others).
