Milan Stehlík

Biography

His first point after acting studying the Academy of Performing Arts was at Prague City Theatres in 1966. He became member of the National Theatre company in 1970. He created more than a hundred diverse roles in National Theatre, from which we point only a small selection: Mozgjakov in the dramatization of Dostoyevsky's „Uncle’s dream“, Tony in Lang’s „Perifery“, Ferdyschenko in Dostoyevsky’s „The Idiot“, Oswald in Shakespeare’s „King Lear“ plus Second Comic in „Hamlet“ and Sganarel in Moliére’s „Don Juan“. He played in Chekhov’s „The Cherry Orchard“, Büchner’s „Danton’s death“, Goldoni’s „Servant of Two Masters“, Shakespeare’s „Taming of a shrew“ and „Richard III“ and in several other productions. He occasionaly works with television and recently he’s performing as a guest at other Prague scenes.
