Michal Bragagnolo made his debut at the National Theatre Opera in May 2015 as Aljeja (Janáček: From the House of the Dead) and has since guest-starred as Arthur Jones (Britten: Billy Budd), The Ridicule (Prokofiev: The Love for Three Oranges), The Young Sailor (Martinů: Juliette), The Young Servant (R. Strauss: Elektra), Benvolio (Gounod: Roméo et Juliette) and Gaston (Verdi: La traviata), among others. He graduated from the Prague Conservatoire and the Academy of Music in Prague under Magdalena Hajóssyová. In F.X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec he has created the roles of Toby (Offenbach: Robinson Crusoe), Rodriguez (Massenet: Don Quichotte), Popiel (Nedbal: Polish Blood) and Christopher of Redern (Sylvie Bodorová: The Legend of Catherine of Redern). He has also performed a number of roles at the J.K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň, including Beppe (Leoncavallo: Pagliacci), Lukáš (Smetana: The Kiss) and the title role in Bernstein's Candide, and has guest-starred at the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice as Panthalis (Boito: Mefistofele). He has also performed in musical productions.
