Michael Kaufmann
Biography
Michael Kaufmann is an Australian tenor, currently completing his Master’s degree in the Opera School at Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the guidance of tenor Andrew Goodwin. Originally from Canberra, Michael started performing in children’s choruses of operas at the age of ten before moving to Sydney for further Studies. In recent years, Michael has toured regional New South Whales in David Reeves’ Seven Little Australians and Kurt Weill’s Mahagonny Songspiel, and has performed as a vocalist in various concerts, including Patti LuPone: Don’t Monkey with Broadway at the Sydney Opera House.
