Primarily a musical actor, Martin Šemík has regularly performed at the Broadway and Hybernia theatres in Prague. At the present time, he appears in productions of the musicals Angelica, The Three Musketeers, Cleopatra, The Phantom of London, Romeo and Juliet, and Antoinette – The Queen of France. After studying the French horn at the conservatory, he was increasingly attracted to singing and acting. He devotes to music of all genres, also singing with the pop-soul orchestra Musiquarium. Furthermore, Martin has worked in the media, including for the weekly Profit, the monthly Přítomnost (The Presence) and the StreetCulture community radio station, where he has his own programme. In addition to pursuing theatre activities, he teaches music theory at a university and works in the AllMedia4U public relations agency.
