Marta Mari

Soprano Marta Mari makes her 2025/26 season debut at the National Theatre Opera and the State Opera as Marguerite (Mefistofele). Born in Brescia, she graduated from the local “Luca Marenzio” Conservatoire and completed numerous masterclasses. She has appeared in many Italian opera houses, including Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa; Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari (Liù in Turandot); Teatro La Fenice in Venice (Azema in Semiramide); Teatro San Carlo in Naples (Mimì in La bohème; Leonora in Il trovatore); Teatro Goldoni in Livorno (Countess in Le nozze di Figaro); and Teatro Lirico in Cagliari (Violetta in La traviata; Micaëla in Carmen; Tosca), among many others. In May 2024 she made her debut as Aida at the State Opera in Banská Bystrica, and in October 2025 she debuted as Suor Angelica in Kiel.
