Madalyn Ivy
Biography
Madalyn Ivy is a soprano from Kansas City, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University in 2021. In the Fall of 2021, Madalyn enrolled in a Masterclass Series with the Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago where she met and first worked with her current teacher, Dr. Lynn Eustis. She is currently working towards her Master’s of Music in Voice Performance at Boston University. Most recently, she performed as Adina in the “Lallarallarà!” duet from Act I of L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti and covered the role of Oberto in G. F. Handel’s Alcina with Boston University. She also performed as Babs in Daron Hagen’s Just for the Night at Roosevelt University. Madalyn is beyond thrilled to be a part of the Prague Summer Nights Festival this year as Barbarina.
