Lucie Šimůnková

Born in Pardubice, she studied at the Prague Dance Conservatory and attended the SummerDanceSchool in Cologne, and is currently studying classical dance pedagogy at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. In 2000, she advanced to the final of the National Ballet Competition in Brno. At the present time, she also teaches at the Prague Conservatory (dance gymnastics, improvisation).
After graduating from the conservatory, she joined Laterna magika. She appeared as a guest at the North Bohemia Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Ústí nad Labem. She has danced in musicals produced by the Dlouhá, Hybernia and Broadway theatres (Edith Piaf, Lucrezia Borgia, A Christmas Miracle) and since 2014 has again collaborated with Laterna magika.
