Dramaturge of international projectsBiography
Director and dramaturge. She graduated in directing and dramaturgy from the Theatre Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU) and Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique in Paris (CNSAD) as part of the SACRe practice based artistic doctoral programme. She had a short study experience also in Warsaw (Akademia Teatralna im. Aleksandra Zelwerowicza), Paris (Université Sorbonne Nouvelle III), and Boston (Theater Arts, Massachusetts Institute of Technology). She lived and worked as an artist in France from 2013 to 2018.
In her practice, she focuses on visual and documentary theatre, but her work also includes a wide range of interdisciplinary projects. She likes to develop new concepts in order to meet new public. She thinks the theatre is a great place for different social groups to meet. She believes that art contributes to changing the environment in which we live and creates dialogue in places where it would not otherwise arise.
She has collaborated with Czech theatre scenes and festivals (Archa Theatre, Alfa Theatre, Studio Hrdinů, 4+4 Days in Motion, etc.) as well as with cultural institutions abroad (Théâtre Public de Montreuil, Louvre, Anis Gras – le lieu de l’autre, Venice Biennale, IRCAM, ESNAM, L’Altre Festival, etc.). As head of dramaturgy, she worked for the French theatre festival Sněz tu žábu (Eat That Frog) and the Czech theatre festival in France Na skok do Prahy (Jump to Prague).
Since 2019 she is Artistic director of the Kolektiv Nesladim, whose dramaturgy focuses on destigmatizing social issues through theatre.
She teaches directing at the Department of alternative and puppet theatre (KALD) at DAMU.
In 2026, she joined the National Theatre as a dramaturge for international projects and the Prague Crossroads Festival.
