Biography
Born in České Velenice in South Bohemia, soprano Lenka Pavlovič studied singing with Stanislava Blažíčková at the music school in Třeboň and then she She furthered her training with Eva Malatincová at the Church Conservatory in Bratislava. She graduated from Prague Academy of Music under the guidance of Vladimír Doležal. Lenka Pavlovič has been frequent guest of the Prague National Theatre Opera, Prague State opera, the F.X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec, the Silesian Theatre in Opava and Klassik Festival Schloss Kirchstetten. Her opera repertoire include the roles of Morgana (Handel: Alcina), Julie (J. A. Benda: Romeo und Julie), Mozart’s Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte) and Despina (Così fan tutte), Giannetta (Donizetti: L‘elisir d‘amore), Frasquita (Bizet: Carmen), Barče (Smetana: The Kiss), the Kitchen Boy and the First Water Nymph (Dvořák: Rusalka), Gretel (Humperdinck: Hansel and Gretel) or Musetta (Puccini: La bohème). Her operettas role include Strauss‘ Adele (Die Fledermaus) and Wally (Tausend und eine Nacht), Wanda (Nedbal: The Polish Blood) and Anastasia (Kálmán: The Gypsy Princess).
