Boldizsár LÁSZLÓ


Hungarian tenor was brought up in a town called Paks where he started his musical career at the local music school at the age of 7. He was the leader of Cotton Club Singers, which was the best and most popular jazz vocal band in Hungary. While singing jazz with his band, he constantly been preparing for an opera career. He sang tenor solos at a lot of classical and crossover concerts in Hungary. He learnt singing belcanto from two excellent teachers. His first master was Olga Sik, one of the famoust Hungarian opera teachers. Three years ago he met Berle Sanford Rosenberg, who was one of Carlo Bergonzi's last students, who is his master nowadays. In the last three years he sang eleven opera tenor roles in the following theaters: Slovak National Opera (SK), Szeged National Theatre, National Theatre of Miskolc, National Theatre of Pécs; Hungarian Opera of Cluj (RO). In Hungarian State Opera House he made his debute as Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madame Butterfly in April 2012.
