Biography

The Prague Philharmonic Children's Choir, founded in 1932 by legendary choirmaster Jan Kühn, became part of the Czech Philharmonic in 1952, and remained so for 40 years. The choir is one of the most significant Czech ensembles, known not only in Europe, but on all 5 continents. It performed successfully in Japan, the United States, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand. During its existence, it has recorded over 50 CDs of both Czech and international music.
