Konstantin Andreiev

Born in Odessa, Ukraine, Konstantin Andreiev studied at the “Nejdanova” Conservatory, under the guidance of Nicolai Ogrenitch. He started his career with the Odessa Opera, debuting in Rachmaninov’s Aleko. From 1995 to1997, he was soloist at the Moscow New Opera, where he made his debut in Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda (Leicester). He won several international competitions including Francisco Viñas Competition in Barcelona and he gained the Third Prize in the Opera Competition and Special Prize in Zarzuela Competition in Plácido Domingo Operalia (2000). Konstantin Andreiev has begun his international career with the role of Rodolfo (Verdi: Luisa Miller) in Montpellier, Frankfurt and Lausanne. Since then he has guest appeared in many opera house and concert halls in North America (the Washington Opera), Australia (Melbourne, Brisbane) and in Europe (London, Paris, Nancy, Montpellier, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Lausanne, Klagenfurt, Lisbon, Teatro dell’ Opera di Roma, Teatro Regio di Torino, Teatro Bellini di Catania, Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Opera Monte Carlo) and in many festivals such as Festival di Torre del Lago Puccini, Dordrecht Festival in Holland, Wexford Festival, Sferisterio Opera Festival in Macerata in Italy, Aalborg Opera Festival in Denmark etc. Since 2013 he has been soloist of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.
