Biography

Fashion and costume designer, self-trained. He started his career as a costume designer and stylist for various Polish video clips. Founder of two Polish fashion brands, Konrad Parol, and Boys Left Girls Right / BLGR. Since 2012 he has worked for theatre productions, making costume designs for the Kochanowski Theatre in Opole (Maja Kleczewska and Łukasz Chotkowski: Brothers and Sisters), the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz (Elfriede Jelinek: Winter Journey, and Shadows /Eurydice Speaks), the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg (Shakespeare: The Tempest; J.M. Coetzee: Waiting for the Barbarians), Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw (Gerhart Hauptmann: The Rats; Szymon An-ski: The Dybbuk, and Elfriede Jelinek: The Fury), or a co-production by the Polish Theatre in Poznań and the Jewish Theatre in Warsaw of Jerzy Kosiński‘s The Painted Bird. He has also designed costumes for Marivaux’s Island, directed by Ivo Vedral, at the Wybrzeże Theatre in Gdańsk; Nobody Would Make a Better Me. A Concert, directed by Łukasz Chotkowski, at the Lubuski Theatre in Zielona Góra; or Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz‘s Gyubal Wahazar, directed by Pawel Świątek, at the Old National Theatre in Kraków. His costumes and masks of animals for Winter Journey have earned him praise from the author, Elfriede Jelinek.
