Katie Heit

Biography

Katie Heit (soprano) is thrilled to make her character debut as Donna Anna with Prague Summer Nights. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky Katie has spent the better part of her classical training under the tutelage of Dr. Carl DuPont at the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University where she earned her Master of Music as well as a Graduate Performance Diploma. While at Peabody she sang roles in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Mother) and Mozart’s Don Giovanni (Donna Elvira). Since then she has made her international debut singing the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Saluzzo Opera Academy, and she studies regularly in Baltimore, Maryland with renowned soprano, Elizabeth Futral.
