Mgr. Kateřina Zapletalová
Biography
Kateřina Zapletalová, a Prague native, studied pedagogy at the Charles University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, as well as English and American Studies at the Faculty of Arts. Since 1992 she has worked in the fields of sales and marketing for several international companies.
She is the owner of a gallery of contemporary Czech design, called the DESIGNUM, and she is the co-owner of MOSER, a luxury glass manufacturer. Since 2010 she has been the member The National Theatre Benefactor´s Club. Together with her husband, she supports organisations providing social services and activities for handicapped athletes. She´s an active athlete herself, loves to travel and study foreign languages. Out of the genres of theatre, she is most interested in contemporary ballet. Her life motto is the Albert Schweitzer quote: “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”
