Biography
Graduate from Ostrava Conservatory (in acting) in 1982. Her way to National Theatre led through more than five smaller czech theatres and through plays like “Amadeus”, “Little Prince” (A. S. Exupéry), “Romeo and Juliett” or “As You Like It” (W. Shakespeare). Her first role in National Theatre was Solveig in “Peer Gynt” (H. Ibsen) in 1994, which was followed by Margaret Flaherty in “The Playboy of the Western World” by J. M. Synge, Dasha in “Demons” by Dostoyevsky, Elvira in Moliére’s “Don Juan and Smeraldina in “Servant of two Masters” by the same writer or Mrs. Linde in “What Happened after Nora left her Husband”. She also acted in many films, with directors like Karel Smyczek, Jiri Menzel, Juraj Herz or Vladimir Michalek.
