Jack Yan

Biography

Hi everyone! My name is Han Yan, I was born in Beijing, China, and studied in New York City as a student in high school. I will soon become a college freshman joining Vanderbilt University this fall and study at the Blair school of music. My experience with bel canto and opera began in NYC, studying with my mentor to classical singing in Manhattan, and through my later studies at the Juilliard Pre-College. I have had the pleasure to perform in two pre-college Opera scenes performances prior and absolutely adored opera as such a powerful and inspiring art form. It is my honor and pleasure to participate in more opportunities with opera and in the upcoming production of Le nozze di Figaro in Prague! I am eagerly looking forward to learning and singing with our friends this summer during our time together in the Czech Republic!
