Biography

The violinist, pianist and singer Isabella D’Éloize Perron hails from a family of musicians. She is currently studying under the guidance of William van der Sloot at the Mount Royal University Conservatory in Calgary. Between 2007 and 2015, she received numerous accolades in national and international competitions, both as a pianist and a violinist. In 2015, she won the Canadian Music Competition and obtained the highest overall rating in all categories, and came second in the Klein International Competition. In 2016, she received first prize in the Concertino Praga international competition. Isabella plays a violin made in 1737 by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume, lent from the company Canimex, based in Drummondville, Quebec.
