Ingrid Seidlová

Ingrid Němečková


Ingrid Němečková was born in Prague in 1959. In 1977, she graduated from the Dance Conservatory in Prague, followed by two-year study stay in Leningrad (1977-1979). In 1979, she joined the National Theatre where she became a soloist in 1991. Since 1989, she also taught classical dance, stage practice at the Dance Conservatory in Prague (1989-1995).
In 1996, she was appointed a ballet master at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, where she still works. As a ballet master she has taught classical ballet dance classes in Bello Horizonte, Brazil and San Francisco Opera Ballet School. She won the Best Pedagogue Award at the International Ballet Competition in Helsinki, won the best teacher.
In 2007, she was one of the assistants to the choreographer, J. Neumeier for the staging of his ballet The Seagull at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre in Moscow. This year she assisted Alexi Ratmansky in staging Anna Karenina at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw. She colaboreted with the Czech National Ballet in productions of Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty.
