
Hannah Burton, originally from Kootingal, NSW, is in her final year of a Master of Music Studies (Operatic Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She graduated with First Class Honours and High Distinction in Classical Voice, studying under Maree Ryan AM. A 2024 Young Artist with Pacific Opera, she performed roles including Adele (Die Fledermaus) and the title role in Thaïs (Opera Scenes). Other operatic roles include Emilie (Émilie), First Witch (Dido and Aeneas), Dew Fairy (Hansel and Gretel), Moth (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Diana (Orpheé aux enfer). Her concert credits as a soprano soloist include Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, Mozart’s Great Mass, Mozart’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah. In 2019 Hannah worked with Opera Australia as a Regional Vocal Scholar and now as a Surtitle Supervisor and Operator. She is also thrilled to be a Semi Finalist in the prestigious Australian Singing Competition IFAC. Hannah was thrilled to debut as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute with Prague Summer Nights in Vienna, and is returning to PSN as Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, in the Estates Theatre in 2026.
