Biography

Czech illustrator and graphic artist Finn Stiller is currently studying at the Studio of Illustration and Graphics at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. Alongside his studies, he has been involved in a number of book and visual art projects. He collaborated on the design of the Czech national stand at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair (2024), created illustrations for the anniversary edition of the Big Brother Awards (2025), and produced woodcut illustrations for Mořenka (The Little Mermaid of the Sea) by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, a forthcoming publication prepared jointly by Baobab Publishing House and UMPRUM. In 2026, he contributed illustrations to the literary magazines Plav and Revue Prostor and created a comic strip for the German children’s comics magazine Polle. His work has been presented at exhibitions associated with the Tabook and LUSTR festivals, as well as at the AI+G Estate exhibition at Veleslavín Château. In 2026, he was nominated for the CAIMAJ Award of Magdaléna Rutová and Jindřich Janíček for Mořenka and his original card game Garden Scopa. He also received a nomination for the 2025 Graphic Art Award in the student category for his print The Life of Our Cat Salome.
