Born and studied Lighting Design in the USA, Felice Ross now lives in Israel. She has designed the lights for many theatre, opera, and dance productions, as well as art installations, in Europe, Israel, Korea, South Africa and the USA. Amongst Felice's lighting designs in opera: The Israeli Opera, Tel Aviv (Il barbiere di Siviglia, The Medium, Onegin, La traviata), the National Opera, Warsaw (Otello, Onegin, Pique Dame, Don Giovanni, Don Carlo, Ubu Roi, Wozzeck, Der fliegende Holländer), The National Opera, Washington D.C. (Andrea Chénier), The Grand Opera, Poznan (Così fan tutte), Roma Musical Theatre, Warsaw (Polanski's Dance of the Vampires), the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie, Brussels (Médée, Macbeth, Lulu), the Bavarian State Opera, Munich (Eugene Onegin, Die Frau ohne Schatten), the Paris National Opera (Iphigénie en Tauride, Parsifal, The Makropulos Affair, King Roger, the last two co-producted with the Teatro Real, Madrid (Poppea & Nerone, Alceste), Palau de les Arts, Valencia (Onegin, ballet El amor brujo), Berlin State Opera (A Rake’s Progress), Welsh National Opera, Cardiff (Manon Lescaut), Third World Bunfight, Capetown (Macbeth).
