

Soprano Eva Hartová will make her debut at the National Theatre Opera and Prague State Opera in the 2026/27 season as Johanna (Sondheim, Wheeler: Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street). After graduating from Prague Conservatorire, she continued her studies privately with Š. Pučálková, H. Kaupová and A. Heddar, as well as at masterclasses and at the Opera Studio in Weimar, where she appeared, among others, as Susanna (Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro) and Adele (J. Strauss: Die Fledermaus). Since the 2023/2024 season, she has been a soloist of the opera company of City Theatre of Ústí nad Labem, where her roles have included Rosina (Rossini: Il barbiere di Siviglia), Esmeralda (Smetana: The Bartered Bride), the Second harvestman (Smetana: Libuše), Adele (J. Strauss: Die Fledermaus), Annina (J. Strauss: Eine Nacht in Venedig), Denise de Flavigny (Hervé: Mam’zelle Nitouche), Valencienne (Lehár: Die lustige Witwe), (Styne & Stone: Sugar), Káča (in the Czech adaptation by Jiří Voskovec and Jan Werich of the musical Finian's Rainbow), and Minnie (Herman & Stewart: Hello, Dolly!). She has also appeared as a guest artist at National Theatre Brno, South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, J.K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň and Opera Studio Praha.
