Erivan Garioli

Biography

Born in Vitória, Brazil, Erivan started dancing at the age of seven at Espaço da Dança where he danced until he was eighteen. Throughout this time, he participated in many competitions, such as the International Festival of Joinville, Youth America Grand Prix and the Prix de Lausanne in 2017. There, he received a scholarship to complete his studies at Canada’s National Ballet School. In 2019, Erivan started his professional career in Singapore Ballet. Finally, in 2021 he became part of the Czech National Ballet in Prague where he had the opportunity of dancing roles such as Mercutio in John Cranko’s Romeo and Juliet; Flower Waltz solo and the Spanish solo in Youri Vàmos’ The Nutcracker – A Christmas Carol; and Fairies’ Cavalier in Márcia Haydée’s The Sleeping Beauty. Erivan also performed in contemporary pieces such as Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar’s Bill and Mauro Bigonzetti’s Kafka: The Trial.
