Eriona Bici

Biography

Eriona Bici was born in Italy.

In 2011 she joined the Teatro alla Scala Ballet Academy under the direction of Frédéric Olivieri and danced in Excelsior and Raymonda with the Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company. In 2014 she began to study at the Vienna State Opera Ballet Academy (Simona Noja) and graduated from the Academy in 2018. She interpreted a number of roles in Vienna State Opera Ballet Company (Swan Lake and Nureyev Gala in 2017, Giselle in 2018, Nutcracker, Coppelia or Le Corsaire in 2019). In September 2019 she danced in the opening Gala of the National Moravian-Silesian Theater (Ostrava, Czech Republic) in Rossini Cards choreographed by Mauro Bigonzetti. In the same year she also danced for example in Dangerous Relationship choreographed by Krzysztof Pastor. She has been influenced by various teachers, for example Tatiana Nikonova, Loretta Alexandrescu or Karen Henry (classical), Emanuela Tagliavia, Sharon Booth, Jed O’Grady (contemporary), Rafael Avnikjan (pas de deux). From 2019 to 2020 she was a member of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava.
