Biography
Guest of the National Theatre Opera.
Dáša Zázvůrková was born in Benešov in 1981. She graduated from a teachers’ lyceum with musical focus in Beroun. She attended private singing lessons with Professor Jaroslav Horáček and a literarydramatic course under the tutelage of Dana Hlaváčová. At the present time, she is taking singing lessons with Vratislav Kadlec. Since September 2004 she has been studying at the Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts, subject: non-verbal and comedic theatre.
For three years she was a member of the Karlín Music Theatre ensemble. Together with the band Golden Swing she has regularly performed at Prague’s Reduta, and she has also introduced herself in various cultural, social and charity events (Drop of Hope, Mole). At the Goja Music Hall she appeared in the musical Les Miserables. She has also acted in Karel Šíp and Josef Náhlovský’s performance Sanatorium. She is preparing the fairy-tale Zlatá nitka (Golden Filament) by the author Markéta Zinnerová. In collaboration with the Faculty of Drama of the Academy of Performing Arts, she has played in Deburau, a combination of pantomime, drama and singing. This theatre comedy originated to mark 50 years of Czechoslovak pantomime. Since 2003, as a visiting member, she has acted and sung in the Semafor theatre’s performances Život je náhoda v obnošený vestě (Life Is A Chance In A Worn-out Waistcoat), I ty zpíváš si ty hity (You Too Sing The Hits), Pokušení sv. Antonína (Temptation Of St. Anthony), 80 svíček na ztraceným dortu (80 Candles On A Lost Cake), Sex a sex je 12 (Sex And Sex Is 12) and Pension Rosamunda.
