Daniel KfelířGuest of the Opera
Baritone Daniel Kfelíř is a guest of the National Theatre Opera. He made his debut here in 2021 as Fiorello in Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia.
He studied singing at the Pilsen Conservatory and Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in the class of Ivan Kusnjer. He participated in singing courses with G. Bouillet, L. Eustis, O. Escalada and A. Carangelo. He also appears on the stage of the National Theatre in Prague as Morales in Bizet‘s Carmen. His repertoire includes Demetrius (Purcell: The Fairy-Queen), Figaro (Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro), Guglielmo (Mozart: Così fan tutte) and Štěpán (Martinů: The Marriage). He performed at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Plzeň, at the Baroque Night in Český Krumlov in Wenzel Müller's Das neue Sonntagskind, and at the Musical Summer Festival in Jezeří 2016 in Spohr's Faust.
He is the winner of the International Antonín Dvořák Vocal Competition in Karlovy Vary in the Junior category for 2021 and of other awards from Czech vocal competitions.
