Cora Bos Kroese

Biography

Born in Amsterdam, she studied at the Royal Ballet School
in London. She completed her dance education at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 1986, she started her dance career with the NDT 2. She continued dancing with the main company, NDT, for 13 years. She created and worked with
many great choreographers: Jiří Kylián
(Petite Mort, Wings of Wax, One of a Kind, Falling Angels, Tiger Lily), William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Edouard Lock, Hans van Manen, and others. In 1993, she received the Aanmoedigings Prijs from the Dancers Fund in Holland. Cora joined Ballet Frankfurt, to work for William Forsythe for two years. For two years she served
as ballet master for the NDT 1, assisting the choreographers Jacopo Godani, Crystal Pite, Meryl Tankard and Jiří Kylián. She has also helped to reset works of William Forsythe
(Duo) and Jiří Kylián worldwide. At the present time, she works as a freelance dancer/choreographer on her own C-SCOPE projects, which

she set up together with her husband and professional dance photographer, Joris-Jan Bos. Each year Cora organises together with Roberta Mosca the Biarteca Festival in Rosazza, Italy.
