Claire Iverson
Biography
Claire Marguerite Iverson is a young lyric soprano based in Baltimore, Maryland. In May 2021, she received her Bachelor of Music from the Peabody Conservatory, where she studied under the tutelage of soprano Ah Young Hong. During her time at Peabody, Ms. Iverson sang the roles of The Governess (The Turn of the Screw), Jane Bennet (Pride and Prejudice, staged world premiere), and collaborated with the Peabody Voice Department and Now Hear This! to present Kaija Saariaho’s opera Émilie (Émilie). Other recent operatic credits include Erster Knabe (Die Zauberflöte, Prague Summer Nights, 2021) and Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica, Music On Site Inc, 2019).
